According to the log, it is debootstrap giving the error, not dbootstrap.
I grepped debootstrap's source for such an error number, and it does not
appear; it must be a derivative error.

Please explain more clearly what the partition table looks like
that does not result in a failure, and how it differs from the
partition table included in your dbg_log.
