Hi, libpthread.so is included in glibc-2.3.1-16, so that the gtk frontend works. But I guess it must also be included in the libc6-pic file, for d-i to build on mips / mipsel. I haven't tried building glibc with a patch on repeat.rfc822.org, in case I kill the poor machine. Karsten, would that be Ok, or should I leave it to one of the glibc maintainers to try? (I'll see if I can come up with a patch). - Alastair -- Alastair McKinstry <mckinstry@computer.org> GPG Key fingerprint = 9E64 E714 8E08 81F9 F3DC 1020 FA8E 3790 9051 38F4 He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself. - --Thomas Paine
