Package: grub-installer
Version: 0.0.5
Severity: serious

The grub-installer fail to install a bootable configuration if the
root file system is not on the first parition. This is because of bug
#110431 in grub, always passing root=/dev/hda1 to the kernel.

The new version of grub solved the problem. I've tested and
successfully installed grub on /dev/hdd in my VMWare test environment.
