I'm getting the same using a netinst floppy.
Only, I couldnt read the whole message, since Shift-PgUp does
not seem to work on the machine where I'm testing d-i.

BTW, it appears Tim made a little typo when reporting this,
its of course libc.so.6, not only lib.so.6.
