Package: boot-floppies
Version: N/A; reported 2002-10-20
Severity: minor

while creating a filesystem on the console, the switch to tty1 is
incredibly slow as every block on the character console is switched to
blue one by one. the same applies to the output of mkreiserfs, which
displays a couple of notes about sponsors at the end. each line is
displayed one by one in a very slow matter. this is not really a bug,
but can be quite annoying!

So why you are reporting it as a bug? You can start bitching on mailing lis=
ts
or not use framebuffer (RTFM, RTF boot-screens).

Eduard.
