Bug#156930: modconf: new status character to show installed failed

Package: modconf
Version: 0.2.43
Severity: wishlist

   Hi folks,

Modconf uses the characters '+' and '-' to show the status of the
modules. I suggest using a new char '*' to indicate the following
situation (example):

   1 - I have a ne2k-pci in the machine, so I install module "ne2k-pci"
2 - The status character shows '+' to indicate a sucessfull
instalation
3 - The next time a boot the machine, it will show '+' and load the
module automatically
4 - I shutdown the machine and remove the ne2k card
5 - The boot tries to load the module but fails. In this situation,
I'd like modconf to show '*' (or other symbol) in the status.

   Thanks,
     Pedro
