| 1. I'm curious to know how debian-installer is designed
| in comparance to boot floppies that I have for woody.
| perhaps someone can point me in a direction to useful.
| information.

| 2. Is there a half or so functional (and compiled ?)
| preview version available ? Where ?

you can use the boot images from ftp.skolelinux.no for a modified
install -- it _will_ kill your hard drive if you choose to partition
it. You have been warned. That cd incorporates some parts which
aren't in d-i cvs, but the overall feel is about right.
