Hi,

I use shell script and cat /proc/* where required. Its smaller than C.
Use ash because it has case statement and is more reliable than the
busybox shell.

I will make up a floppy to see if it fits. I have already made a floppy
with kernel, no net modules, libc6, parted and parted libs.
