Bug#129479: Boot without cdrom?



I realize this bug is getting pretty old now... but we had some other 
people that couldn't detect a hard disk when they had a CD-ROM in the 
tray as they booted; but when they booted without the CD it would see
the hard disk. Is that the case here too?
