Yes, I think it is. Probably because it's not applicable for
newWorlds; but the thing is this 2.4 kernel will be usable and
desirable on oldWorlds too.

I got confused between the different problems for different kernel
versions.  So I'll reopen this bug.

I verified it's still doing that, and I also tried booting my regular
system with the 2.4 kernel included in new-powermac, and it panics
because it can't find sda7.
