I want a *default* value which is only used if there currently is no value! I thought the semantics of what the frontend thinks is default was if value exists then value else default Is this wrong? Now do I have to start by checking if there is a value, and if not, set it? Why aren't substitutions allowed in Defaults? Can't there be situations where you want to substitute part of a Default and want the rest to be translated? /Martin
