Bug#167706: ethdetect: asks about the same module multiple times

Package: ethdetect
Version: cvs as of 2002-11-04
Severity: minor

when running ethdetect on an RLX blade with three network interfaces
(all eepro100), it looks like:

Would you like me to try to detect hardware?
I can automatically detect some hardware. If you would like me to try choose
'yes'. If you choose 'no' you will be prompted to identify your hardware.
Prompt: yes/no, default=yes>
Network Hardware Configuration

Would you like me to attempt to load the 'eepro100' module?
An ethernet card has been detected on the PCI bus. In order for the operating
system to use this card the module 'eepro100' must be loaded.
Prompt: yes/no, default=yes>

-----------

It would be better if it checked if the module had already been loaded
(either by caching or through lsmod) and if so didn't ask about that
module.
