The question is not whether it is wrong or not; the English text in
localized templates files *must* be the text on which translation is
based.  When it differs from the one found in original (=master)
templates file, this means that it is fuzzy and has to be updated.
If you modify it, translators have no way to be aware of your
changes.
Of course, you can fix typos (like the removal of extra spaces) in
order to reduce translator's workload, but please be very careful
when performing such changes.
