Sorry to bother you, but, FWIW, I'd be quite happy if you would include support for promise based ATA pci controllers in future versions of the debian ppc install kernel.

I have a Sonnet ATA-100 card in my Power Mac 7300 and the installer does not see my HD. I'm *probably* not the only would be user who would benefit from this as many people have bought such cards for their Old-World PowerMacs.

Long shot I know, but is there any chance your could rebuild the installer kernel for the ppc install iso linked here (Woody in your pocket) :
