No harm was done. It is very nice that you found the error.
It seems you have not removed the "fuzzy" markers in your patch. Their
purpose is to mark individual messages as "not up-to-date". So your
updated strings will not be used.
I can recommend dedicated tools like kbabel for editing po files. It is
very user friendly. It removes fuzzy marks automatically when you edit
the corresponding string. I would expect kbabel to support Chinese
letters, but I'm not sure.
