Bug#135504: CD isn't unmounted after Kernel/Drivers install

I had some time this mornining to go back and do the install from scratch.
My intention was to get a log after the "failure", as you requested.

At the moment, I'm in the midst of installing the base system from the CD,
after installing the kernel and drivers from the CD. It did not lock up.
It worked very well. (I *did* use your suggestion of 'linux cdrom' at the
boot prompt. Could that be at all important?)

This was done on the same hardware, with the same CD-ROM disk. While
things like the value for entropy have changed since then, none of the
important aspects have, so I can not explain the failure of last week.

I'd say, "Close this bug report".

If I can find the time, I will try to run the install without the cdrom
option at boot, and see if I get the more tangled path.

Thanks for your work on this project!

Luck,

Dwarf
