I have used it several times, and often it does not find the best mirror.
Bear in mind that the mirror with the lowest round-trip latency, topological
distance, or geographical distance is not always (or even usually) the one
with the greatest end-to-end bandwidth available, and hence not always (or
even usually) the one which will provide the fastest package downloads.
