Bug#127535: boot-floppies: writing bug report on a read only partition

at some point when reading disks images from a partition, that partition
got mounted read only. The result was that when I was trying to "report an
error" the system said:
"An error occured while generating the problem report, sorry".
I looked at the error log (tty3) and saw that the fs was mounted read only.
