Bug#126344: boot-floppies: Impossible to install boot-floppies package (testing distribution)

boot-floppies package fails to install with apt-get because of conflicting dependencies.

Here is the command and output for apt-get.

#apt-get install boot-floppies

requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

  boot-floppies: Depends: python-xml but it is not going to be installed
E: Sorry, broken packages


It appears that the python-xml package depends on a 1.5.x version of Python whereas
python-dev on which boot-floppies depends itself depends on Python 2.1.
