my next set of patches which fix the last flaws in the progress bar
stuffs add a new info message for md5 validation, so particularly in
the basedeb.tgz case you will get a progress bar as it verifies
md5sums and the messages:

Validating
/var/cache/apt/archives/blahblahblah_0.0.0-0_powerpc.deb

it will also display a progress bar for the dpkg runs, this is a tad
bit blocky, but ive managed to balance it well enough to seem mostly
natural. its certainly better then displaying a dialog with a
completly filled progress bar and:

Extracting whiptail.

for 10 minutes.
