Bug#113444: 3.0.14 reiserfs dbootstrap failure

Version: 3.0.14

I just attempted to install Sid from reiser boot floppies obtained from 

http://people.debian.org/~aph/debian/dists/woody/main/disks-i386/current/images-1.44/reiserfs/
dated 23-Sep-2001 16:03

and received the following errors after the first set of packages were
http downloaded and umcompressed:

Sep 24 22:47:48 (none) user.err dbootstrap[53]: Failure trying to run:
chroot /target mount -t proc proc /proc 
Sep 24 22:48:40 (none) user.err dbootstrap[53]: debootstrap exited with
an error (return value 1)

System is a PII-400.
