Yes, I believe this is bug 78750.

Is this actually a modconf bug?  or a modutils bug?  On i386, the
parport_pc module always provides the low level parport doesn't it?
It seems like 'modprobe lp' should just work, and it's modutils' job
to make sure that functions.

Or am I confused about something?
