By The By .... We are having the exact problem....... But this is a new 
system..  The only diff is that we messed with the partiotion table right 
before this problem occured .. before hand it booted just fine..... now.....
and nothing has chnged same kernel same OS. 

will let oyu know if we find anything... PS we are not using the same SCSI 
drive or Bios.....
