Howdy, It should have asked where you wanted to install LILO. Do you remember what the options were, and what you chose? I imagine it would have said: /dev/hda Install LILO in the MBR (use this if unsure). /dev/hdeX Install LILO in the boot partition's boot sector. Could you have chosen the first option by mistake? Matt
