Bug#122720: serial console installation - wrong speed settings

installing on a Sparc Ultra 5 with serial console - it seems there
is a mismatch between the kernel console and the tty speed - Terminal
program set to 9600 1n8.

IP Protocols: ICMP, UDP, TCP
IP: routing cache hash table of 512 buckets, 8Kbytes
TCP: Hash tables configured (established 8192 bind 8192)
NET4: Unix domain sockets 1.0/SMP for Linux NET4.0.
VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly.
Activating swap.
Adding Swap: 50888k swap-space (priority -1)
Checking root file system...
fsck 1.25 (20-Sep-2001)

And later:
