Package: Alpha installation
Version: 2.2.20

I attempted to install potato on an Alpha machine, but when I tried to "Install Operating System Kernel and Modules" the Driver floppy (driver-1.bin) isn't recognized by
the installation script... it claims it's the "drv14alphageneric" which is exactly what i'm trying to install, but it says it wants "disk 1 of series the driver series".
However when I use driver-2.bin from the same folder the installation recognizes the floppy as the correct series but the wrong number. I'm sure the floppies came
from the correct folder ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/potato/main/disks-alpha/2.2.20-2000-12-03/images-1.44/ . I would try to find the problem myself but I
can't mount the floppies.. mount
claims "Invalid parameters" for all of the floppies (except root.bin).

Thanks a lot,
James

No, I don't think so.

Well, skipping drivers is problematic. I was talking about ignoring
the warning that the drivers aren't right.

Anyhow, you say they work in woody, so I'm closing the bug, since
we're not fixing Potato anymore.
