bug in current (Oct 16, 2001) woody/testing installation.
Ok I'll make this as decent as i can:
- install system and reboot (this all goes just fine)
- systems boots up for first time off of hd (fine)
- system asks for root pw and new user(s) (fine)
- system asks if i want to run tasksel, i say yes
\- i select some things, then asked to run dselect, i say yes or no
\- something goes wrong (i don't have enough hd space to hold .debs)
so i get tossed back to "do u want to run tasksel?"
i go through all of the package select again, but select far fewer
packages. each time it tries to download the same list of packages
even though i told it not to. same filesizes, same errors about
limited hd space. otherwise this all works just fine. if you need
any other info toss me an email.
for this i used simply 2 floppy images (rescue/root) and installed
everything via network (http). a VERY nice system. :)
