Idea 1:

   mkdir -p /export/cdrom

   export /export, not /cdrom, mount the CD on /export/cdrom (possibly
   through automounter --- this will require a Linux nfsd with reexport
   capabilities, but should work).

Idea 2:

   /etc/init.d/nfs stop
   umount /cdrom
