On a Power Computing 180 (Oldworld), the hfs boot floppy loads fine, asks
for root disk. Processing stops after root disk insertion, with these
messages:

mouse1: ps/2 mouse device for input0
mice: ps/2 mouse device common for all mice
usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs

ufs: mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly.
freeing unused kernel memory: 168k init 28k prep
