You're probably going to think I have it in for you, but fwiw, I
don't. :-/
The proper implementation should look more like:
dbootstrap:
if [local install]:
unpack tarball into /target
if [floppy install]:
cat floppies | unpack tarball into /target
and then calling dbootstrap with a "null:" url, instead of an "http:" one.
The distribution dependent scripts are specifically not meant to care
about where the .debs come from.
