Package: boot-floppies
Version: 20010521
Severity: normal

When installing Progeny on a machine that only has a raid controller
(i.e. /dev/ida/c0d0* devices), the partitioner does not show any
options, and thus setup is impossible. Many high-to-end servers
fall into this category, including the Compaq Proliant DL series
of servers.

A quick glimpse at the python code for the installer seems to reveal
that only 'hd*' and 'sd*' drives are searched for.

Cheers,
jd

Howdy,

As previously noted, this is a problem with Progeny's installer,
not Debian's, so this should be closed.
