After belatedly searching the list, I found your description. I also found
this:

Sorry about your day then, but hey if you had documented it properly then,
when you had the information at your fingertips, then I wouldn't have even
felt the need to supply some kind of answer in the documentation now. In
fact, I wouldn't have had to find the alternate answer at netbsd when I was
trying to install. As you're no doubt aware, a person trying to install
Debian is relying on the install documentation; searching the debian-boot
mailing list, of which they are unaware and don't care about, is not a
viable alternative.

I often hear you complain about recurring questions on the list, probably
because you do answer folks so often. In my position as somebody new that's
just trying to help, I can really use your guidance. Can you make it as
constructive as possible? I can write, I can contribute documentation
changes. I'm also a programmer, but I sure as hell know I'm not qualified to
start changing code yet.

We *can* help each other without being overly negative.

Here's the description:

But when I try to do this, Disk Copy won't let me mount the image, gives me
an error -58 ("The disk cannot be read on this MacOS computer."). I'm using
Disk Copy 6.3.3 on MacOS 9.1. Since I can't mount the image, I can't select
Make a Floppy (it's grayed out.)

Sounds like 100% misinformation...
