Absolutely right, it was my mistake. I re-downloaded and re-burned floppies
and it didn't complain about that.
What does it mean after installing drivers, when the error log gives
messages like
Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.2.19/net/3c503.o
I got a bunch of these messages.
I did, however, get all the way thru installation of the Base system, for
the first time. I even tried make my hard disk bootable and it didn't
complain, maybe it did something. Although it didn't boot into Linux.
