What type of your PERC RAID? I had used 2 types of PERC RAID.
* PERC2 (MegaRAID)
* PERC3 (Adaptec RAID)
My cutomized boot disk supports PERC3. But it has old driver. The
upstream author says it has memory leak bug. And I had experienced
an another bug that hangs up on SMP environment.
If your PERC RAID is PERC3, you might need a boot disk with new
aacraid drver.
