I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but how will/can say the partitioning module become aware of a certain requirement of a bootloader? The reason i ask is that on most PowerPC machines the bootloader needs a small bootstrap partition with a special type, if its not created there is no convenient means to install the bootloader on the disk and thus, in many cases make the machine bootable. on current/recent PowerMacs this is at least an 800K partition as close to the first partition as possible generally with type Apple_Bootstrap. on PReP and IBM RS/6000 hardware its a 5MB or so partition with type 0x41 PReP Boot. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
