Promise Ultra 100 Controller

Hello,

I can't install Debian potato on a harddisk which is on a Promise Ultra 100
UDMA controller. The trader told me, that controller would be the same like the
Promise Ultra 66. I used the rescue- and bootdisk in the udma66-directory making
by rawrite2. My harddisk is an IBM DTLA-307030, Gigabyte-board GA-586SG,
Biosrev. 1.14.

1) Does Ultra 100 run with Ultra66-driver (Is it right that this controller are
more or less the same)?

2) Is there any information how to boot the ulra66-modul, maybe parameters on
the boot-prompt? On Promise website are only information for Redhat 6.0 with
special funktion on F1 and F2. On Debian I couldn't find only the readmes in
udma66-directory for the bootdisks.

Thanks a lot for hely

(sorry for my easy english)
