Here it is :
bash-2.04$ more /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 03 Lun: 00
Vendor: PLEXTOR Model: CD-ROM PX-40TS Rev: 1.01
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 04 Lun: 00
Vendor: PLEXTOR Model: CD-R PX-R820T Rev: 1.03
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 05 Lun: 00
Vendor: SyQuest Model: SyJet-S Rev: 0117
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
I still don't understand what you need this info for, it is easier and more
generic to simply check for a /dev/sda without /dev/sda# partitions below it,
and then see if there is a filesystem on it.
Should i fill a bug against my superfloppy formatted old 520MB harddisk not
being recognized correctly also then ?
Friendly,
