A simple question

Hello All!

May be, I'm very stupid, but I don't understand why
boot-floppies package depends of very big list of
packages?

 Package: boot-floppies
 Version: 2.2.13
 Section: devel
 Priority: extra
 Architecture: all
 Depends: dpkg-dev, gcc, glibc-pic, slang1-pic, makedev, libnewt-dev,
libpopt-de
v, zlib1g-dev, recode, make, gettext, m4, lynx, debiandoc-sgml,
libi18n-langtags
-perl, man-db, libpaperg, tetex-bin, tetex-extra, perl5, libwww-perl,
pointerize
, libgd1g-dev, bison, ash, dpkg-awk, flex, file, rsync, python-xml,
debhelper, gawk,
cslatex, cspsfonts

I see, some of this packages really need, but other...

I want to know for that:

tetex
libwww-perl
python-xml
cslatex
cspsfonts
lynx
libpaperg

What these packages do in creating boot-floppies process?
Why I must install TeTeX for creating boot-floppies?

With best wishes,
