Bug#63454: crc error with compact boot floppies

I have tried the rescue.bin on two systems with multiple floppies. Integrity
of the floppy was verified on both systems (cmp as well as scandisk).
When Linux is loaded a "crc error" results and the install process hangs.
CRTL-ALT-DEL is blocked.
