Sorry, saw that to late. Used the bug-package for reporting.

I'm not sure, if this is the problem. As i told, i just formatted a new disk
with mke2fs /dev/fd0 -O none. No option regardings block sizes etc, just
turned the special features for kernels above 2.2.10 off. Then i copied all
the files from you disks (which i mounted under 2.3.99 with no problems)
onto my new disks, and was able to boot from it.

I have reopened the bug (to my opionion it shouldn't have had been closed
that fast without asking me, the submittor, first). I also changed the
title of the bug.

Yes, i used the 2.2.12-2000-04-26 set of disks, on a axppci33/noname
machine.
