Subject: Installer I386
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Package: installer kernel
version: don't know
I believe there is a problem with the install kernel. I have a
Buslogic SCSI controller controlling my 2 HDD's,zip drive, and 2
CD-ROM's. When it boots the kernel, it assigns device names to the
hdd's and zip drive (hda-hdc), but it doesn't assign device names to any
of the two Cd-roms(Though it still "sees" them, (the ansi strings for
each device, or whatever)). I can't install for that reason. Right now
I'm downloading new images, but I believe I have an up-to-date CD. I
have a P-Pro 200, 40megs of mem, Buslogic SCSI controller.
