Subject: default entry for "Choose Debian Archive path" generates an error
Message-ID: <Pine.A41.3.95.1000205124905.54748B-100000@fn2.freenet.edmonton.ab.ca>

Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.2.6

Hitting "Enter" to use the default "/debian" entry at the "Choose Debian
Archive path" dialog results in the following error being spit out to
tty3:

user.info dbootstrap[17]: no file
'/instmnt/debian/debian/dists/potato/main/disks-i386/current/disks-1.44/compact/rescue.bin'
          ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
found, kernel not in default location

This is the exact error message given during the "Install OS Kernel and
modules" step, a similar message was spit out during the "Install base
system" step.

Backspacing over the default "/debian" text and hitting "Enter" works
without generating an error message, and results in a "default" action
appearing in the next dialog ("Select Debian archive path") instead of
just the `choose from a list' and `manual entry' options.

We believe the bug you reported has been fixed as of the Potato boot flopppies,
version 2.2.8. Please let us know if not.

Remember that often bugs are filed against boot-floppies, when the should
be filed against modconf, base-config, kernel-image-2.2.14, or other
related packages. Please do you best to track down which package is the
culprit when creating bugs.
