Install via PLIP & Kernel Bug#55383

Hi,

I was thinking of testing the new install using a PLIP connection but
it seems that there is no possibility to configure it before it is
needed.

Anyway, there is still a Bug #55383 (filled by me) about PLIP being
borken in kernel 2.2.14. Althought I gave it priority: Important, its
priority had been downgraded to normal by the maintener. I contacted
him few days ago about this downgrade but didn't get any answer. Is
someone aware if it has been downgraded because it is planned to be a
resolved issue in next kernel release (2.2.15 will fix it) or
anything else?
