Bug#57894: Network config hangs with PCMCIA
Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.2.7
With a Xircom Global Access Ethernet 10/100+ Modem 56 card installed in
my Toshiba Portege, the installation seems to fail to detect the card
when I choose PCMCIA configuration, although cardmgr reports no error.
When I choose Network Configuration, it claims there is no networking
device found, and hangs with a blue screen if I tell it not to abort.
The card is recognised happily at bootup time when I have the base
system installed.
