I am having trouble partitioning an IDE drive for dbootstrap.

Either dbootstrap is not recognizing the partitioned disk or cfdisk and
fdisk are not doing thier job.

I get the error message:

Fatal Error: Bad primary partition
Press any key to exit fdisk

when I follow dbootstrap's installation procedure. Please note that the
error message says fdisk and not cfdisk. I get the same error message when I
open a shell on tty2 (Alt+F2) and do:

# cfdisk

But...

When I do:

# cfdisk -z

I do not get the error message, and am able to enter the cfdisk program.

And...

When I do:

# fdisk

I do not get the error message, and am able to enter the fdisk program.

Nonetheless, after writing my partition to my disk (I tried with cfdisk
and also with fdisk) dbootstrap does not seem to recognize the partition.
It just keep prompting me:

Next: Partition a hard drive.

How can I check to see if the problem is in dbootstrap or if it is in
either cfdisk or fdisk.

Any pointer will be appreciated.

Changes have been made to deal with "factory fresh" partition tables.
We have been unable to reproduce this problem with new (potato) boot-floppies
and believe this bug has been fixed as of boot-floppies 2.2.5 or better.

If you do find that this bug still exists, please let us know and we
will re-open this bug.
