Thats funny. My system uses c0d0p1. This is what I see on my box.

This is stock 2.2.13. Also /dev/MAKEDEV supplied by debian uses
makedev rd/c${unit}d${ld}p$part b $major $minor $disk
so the /dev special files match up just fine... Are you sure
about the c0d01 plan?
