Yes, unfortunately I have run into the same problem. I have ended up having 
to use a 2.0.36 boot kernel on a floppy disk. I havent spent enough time at it
to have a solution, but I thought the 2.2.13 kernel was small enough to
fit on the floppy... Does someone else have a solution...
