Package: dbootstrap from harddrive based slink install
Version: unknown

I'm using the harddisk-based install to install Slink.=20

I have an HPT366 ATA/66 controller.

I use the kernel parameter 'ide=3D0xb000' to get the kernel to =
recoginize the hard drive on this controller.

The kernel assigns the drive to 'hdg'.

When linux boots up and runs dbootstrap to begin the installation, it =
says no hard drive was found and that this is a diskless install.

I did a mknod hdg b 35 0, and I make hdg5 and hdg6 which are my linux =
partitions. Still dbootstrap said no hard drive. I believe it is hard =
wired to only look at hd[a-d].=20

Can this be fixed to look for all hd? drives?

Don Park

The extra hd* devices were already added in potato. I'm closing this
bug. If you test on the potato boot-floppies and still get this
problem, be sure to let us know.
