Hmmm... It's hard to tell as I never had to reinstall the system on my Sparc
Classic since then ;-) As far as I remember, this problem went away with
boot-floppies 2.1.8 or 2.1.9. I was pretty much sure this bug was already
closed.

P.S. It was bug #33578 and only 10 months ago. Hard to imagine ;-)
