Unable to mount root fs
Hello debian-boot people;
Up until a couple days ago, I was able to successfully build and install
(from CD) using the latest CVS bf. Now, during boot from the rescue CD,
the following error stops completion of the process:
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 01:00
stdout and stderr from "make release" indicate no errors that have not
already been noted in this forum. "make check" is successful. I am
writing the CD with the following files:
./boot-floppies/release/drivers.tgz
./boot-floppies/release/base2_2.tgz
./boot-floppies/release/disks-2.88/rescue.bin
Thanks
